I was not able to use or understand commands. It has the basics of taking an image and reducing the height and width in proportion to the original. I was looking for something that resized using a scale in inches,and also provided a feature for editing . Sometimes in the resizing I need to crop some edges.I also was looking for a feature that allowed the photo to be shape into a circle, square , oval or heart. I use my photos for photo charm jewelry so I need a program very, very freindly. I purchased Printworkshop 2007 for 9.99 and created my own template of shapes at different scales .After editing photos in the same program and placing text over them I drag them into the shape. It works great.Thanks

PRG review

Hi - I was looking for an application that was able to resize and change the embedded DPI in the file, and to intelligently set the longest side to 640 pixels (say). I used to be able to do this in Sizerox for the Mac, but have migrated to PC, and am looking for something similar. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem the PRG can do this,

Nice product...

I really liked the product. I only used it on a batch of about 55 pictures, but it worked quickly and applied the watermark I selected easily. One thing I would like to see under the watermark is the ability to change the font easily. I didn't notice it in there. If this is already there, then kudos to you! :)

Was evaluating a competing package but found this to be the best on the market for what it is supposed to do. Will be purchasing for the work place.

comments for Picture Resize Genius

I have used this tool only a few times but so far it has been great. These days on takes larger and larger pictures with all the new cameras. It is nice to be able to easly make small pictures for email and uploading to the web.

Seems to do it`s job

I have only tried it on a demo trial, which is limited (of course) but quite useful;
The picture resizing went wonderful, easy to use and simple enough for everyone to understand.
Not a sweat to do a batch resizing or a batch rename.
Could not find out how to work the watermarking, but I'm guessing that's demo limitation but the use of it seem very simple as well...
Funny enough, I didn't think it would ever work on my Linux OS but it adapted beautifully to my "Fake Windows" and it worked like a charm ;-)

this was a no brainer

i tried it on trial for 50 pics in a batch. it worked easy and fast so easy in fact i never had to read the instructions .so i bought it 10 minutes later'' great product. thanks, just what i needed for my website.
